Palworld
I played Palworld (I have game pass so it was right there for me to try) and it was pretty cool!
I assumed it was a discount Pokemon Arceus but was actually really interesting. You beat things and make them do work for you. Having such a visceral interaction with the world makes you really confront the fact that Pokemon is really just slavery at scale.
Ethics aside, it's pretty engaging! There's a ton of things to make and ways to progress. Everything can be automated by catching more pokemon and there is XP and building houses and whatnot. I enjoyed it a lot.
The downside is all these survival sims are grindy, so I did end up playing it with speedhack on in cheat engine (at 2-5x speed, depending on what I was doing). Otherwise boss battles against a boss with 30k health (and me doing 300 per hit) would take too long for me to stay interested.
